Ricardo Stevens (b.1983) studied music education at California State University Fresno. During this time, he studied with Dr. Lawrence P. Sutherland, Dr. Gary P. Gilroy and studied trumpet with Dr. Michael Caldwell. In addition, Ricardo also manages his own music publishing company, Ricardo Stevens Publishing, LLC. He composes original music and arrangements for the music education market, with a focus on serving small rural community schools from early middle school levels. He receives numerous annual commissions. He is currently working at Terra Bella Union Elementary School District in Terra Bella, California. He resides in Porterville, CA with his wife Cassandra and their five very spoiled kids.
